While visiting Mt Airy I had someone tell us about this restaurant. I am really glad they did because I might have driven right by and missed it. We sat out back and had a nice view of the river and greenway . The food was really good and generous portions. The chips that came with my husbands sandwich were really great! This will be a regular stop when we come to Mt Airy.
I saw this place while walking the Granite City Greenway. My dog Oliver and I decided it would be a great place to grab a beer and bite after a long hike. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to my dog. They let us sit in the enclosed back patio with heaters, a God send on a chilly afternoon. They were quick to bring me a beer and were super cool for allowing me to substitute grilled chicken for the chicken fingers in the kids meal, for the dog. When the food was brought out I was mildly disappointed because the plating made the food look just ok, but don’t judge a book by its cover. Every bite was perfection. The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. The fries were crisp and delicious. The beans and rice pilaf were crazy tasty. And the fish burrito? One of the best I have ever had. We will be back often.
The wraps are amazing (we had Siracha and Thai chili)! Bacon cheese fries were delicious! Kaylee was phenomenal but really everyone checked on us and all the girls were so sweet. Wish we lived closer but we will definitely be back!!
Wish I had taken a picture of the food but we were too hungry to wait. Called on a Saturday and advised we had a group of 25 arriving in 30 minutes. They had tables waiting for us. Very fast service, good quality food and reasonably priced. The onion pedals are awesome!!! Make sure you walk out back to the trail and take in the views!!
What a find! We were visiting Mt. Airy and took a bike ride on the beautiful trail through town. We stopped in for a bite. Food was a good mix of healthy options and pub fare and a good selection of beer. The back patio by the creek was a great setting to have lunch. I wish I could remember our waitress' name...great personality and service.
First but not last time we'll go there. You can tell they take pride in their food they serve. Fresh made to order. Superb ingredients. Plenty of food per serving also. I had the Chazz wrap. Delicious and just the right amount of spice. Make sure you get the hand cut fries as well. Although, my wife got the hot chips, and they were great also. Not sure, but I believe, their ranch is made in house also. Smooth taste. Keep it up and see y'all soon!
I had the homemade crab cakes that were delicious 😋 Husband had his usual Hot dog 🌭 and said it was great. Crab dip was also excellent! I would definitely go back !
Came here while in town passing through on our way to the beach and we were pleasantly surprised by everything. The food was all good and homemade. The frys are fresh cut and delicious. The burgers were well seasoned and tasty. The Chazz wrap had a kick and the perfect combo.
We stopped here for lunch right after our bike ride on the greenway. Great food and service. A really convenient place right off the Granite City Greenway. Perfect place for bikers and walkers to grab some affordable great food. Dine in or outdoors. Great view of the greenway and the river below.
